We Offset

A carbon offset is a reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases made in order to compensate for emissions made elsewhere. Offsets are measured in tonnes of carbon dioxide-equivalent. 

Transportation used to ship orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, leading to climate change. Offsetting allows us to minimize your carbon footprint, and neutralize your shipping emissions that contribute to climate change. As you place orders on Poshimart you are supporting an environmentally-friendly business that invests in sustainability initiatives to counteract the environmental impact of shipping.

Every month, we calculates the total emissions generated by your shipped orders, and that number becomes our monthly Offset cost. Our Offset payments go towards forest protection initiatives.
